Submitted

Your carrier has received the claim report. An adjuster is typically assigned within one business day.

In Review

The adjuster reviews your policy, incident details, and initial documentation to determine next steps.

Inspection & Documentation

An inspection may be scheduled and additional photos, estimates, or reports may be requested.

Determination

The adjuster issues a coverage decision — approved, partially approved, or denied — with an explanation.

Settlement Offer

If approved, a settlement amount is calculated. You can review the breakdown with your VKOVR advisor before accepting.

Closed

The claim is resolved — payment issued, repairs authorized, or claim closed after denial or withdrawal.
